Imagine this, your hands tied up, your heart racing and your mind blown. You feel your partner’s breath against your skin and all their dirty thoughts in your veins pumping harder as they tie you up. UFF that got a little hot. Well, the people I interviewed for this piece felt way more than what I just described, and not just physically, hehe.

Oh man - being tied up is like sensory overload on steroids! Every sense of mine is on high alert, tingling with anticipation for whatever curveball my partner's gonna throw next. It's this wild guessing game – where are they gonna venture next, what's their next move gonna be? The excitement and the whole restraint situation kick my experience up a notch, way beyond anything I can put into words. It's like turning the volume up on life, and I'm loving every second of it!

For me, being tied or tying someone is an act of vulnerability and trust. When someone allows you to take control of them or when you give someone the permission of being controlled, it shows an incredible amount of faith and love. Me and my partner take turns between being the powerless and the powerful, and that creates an intimate atmosphere like nothing else. Knowing that she feels safe even when she’s completely at my mercy has brought us so much closer.

I pop the big question to my girlfriend about why she's all into tying me up. And let me tell you, her eyes practically do a little happy dance when I ask. She spills the beans about how it's like this turbo boost for her arousal – watching my breath do the cha-cha and my body language pulling a 180. Apparently, it's like turning up the heat for her to see me all sizzling when I'm all trussed up. It makes her hot to see me all hot when I’m tied up. It’s such a win-win!

The ride has been a bit of a roller coaster for me. See, there's this not-so-great memory with my old boyfriend, a guy for whom the concept of boundaries was a foreign language. He had a knack for pushing things beyond my comfort zone.
But, I'm hopeful that someday, I'll toss that script aside and replace it with fresher, steamier memories of being tied up. Who knows, I might even take the reins and that might help in making me feel differently about the situation. Men are always taught to be masculine, in the traditional sense of this word - you know, always in control, be the Mr. Powerhouse. Frankly, I find it utterly pathetic. So, guess what's become my personal rebellion manifesto? Getting tied up by my girlfriend. It's like my way of giving a massive middle finger to those outdated stereotypes. Just the idea of smashing those norms makes me go, "Goddamn, that feels good!" And hey, the fact that it's an absolute blast is like the cherry on top. Who knew shaking up the status quo could be this satisfying, right?
