Sachee (she/her) is the co-founder of That Sassy Thing, a feminist, new-age sexual wellness brand for women. Having worked across sexual wellness brands in India and the US, Sachee realized how the space was dominated by men—both in product creation and conversations. That Sassy Thing is here to change that by revolutionizing the sexual wellness space with a Sex-Ed-first approach.

Industry Experience

Sachee and her co-founder, Himanshu, worked on building India’s largest sexual wellness brand, Manforce Condoms, from 2012 to 2015. It was during this time that she recognized the importance of building a sexual wellness brand backed by credible sex education for women in India.

Starting That Sassy Thing

She started the brand in 2021 due to her personal struggles with PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome), which she dealt with for 15 years. She experienced vaginal dryness, painful sex, and excessive body hair, but couldn't talk about it openly due to the taboo. When she couldn’t find products that suited her body, she decided to create her own natural, body-safe sexual wellness products.

Sachee believes in bringing much-needed equality and education for women in the bedroom and making women’s pleasure shame-free and fun.

That Sassy Thing has been built with the support of India’s top sexuality educators like Karishma Swarup, Neha Bhat, Apurupa Vatsalya, and Artika Singh, who have contributed to creating free and credible sex education resources for the brand.
